Within the framework of the launch of the solar energy provided by the UNDP through the support of the German Federation through the KFW, Assafina received the Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Hector Hajjar, UNDP and KFW representatives in Lebanon.

With the warm hospitality of the beneficiaries at Assafina Center for the Handicapped, the guests were received and in the presence of the members of the Administrative Committee. The Director of the Center, Mrs. Renée Rafih, delivered a speech in which she thanked the donors for their generosity and addressed requirements to ensure the sustainable management of Assafina in order to continue providing necessary services and to prevent future challenges. Mrs. Rafih listed the achievements she has done for the Center since she took over the administration.
